Dynamics of grazing systems

Marine and terrestrial ecosystems share a basic set of components and interactions although the characteristic space and time scales differ greatly. Understanding how different trophic levels interact in ecosystems is a non-linear dynamics problem amenable to theoretical analysis. This Working Group aimed to explore the commonalities and differences between different types of ecosystem with a view to providing insights that will assist in the continuing development of both Green Ocean models and DGVMs.
