Thank you to all who attended Earth System Science 2010 and made it such a successful conference. Downloads of many of the talks are now available, along with the conference materials, in the "Conference Downloads" section below. We are publishing the conference proceedings in Elsevier's Procedia - Environmental Sciences, which will be available online. For those submitting papers to Procedia, the deadline for final submission is Wednesday 1 September 2010.
The aim of Earth System Science 2010 was to present recent advances in the understanding of Earth system dynamics and highlight new directions for analysing the interactions between humans and our environment. It successfully helped in the building of much-needed bridges: between the natural sciences, the social sciences and the humanities, and between policy, assessment and research.
The conference was structured around three broad themes: Earth system modelling; Dynamics of biogeochemical cycles and climate; People and resources; for more information please see the details below.
