AIMES Open Science Conference

The Earth System Science 2010 Conference will present recent advances in the understanding of Earth system dynamics and highlight new directions for analysing the interactions between humans and our environment. It is intended to help in the building of much-needed bridges: between the natural sciences, the social sciences and the humanities, and between policy, assessment and research.
The conference will be structured around three broad themes: Earth system modelling; Dynamics of biogeochemical cycles and climate; People and resources. The programme will include invited scene-setting presentations on key Earth System topics, research presentations, poster sessions and discussions.
