Venue details

Earth System Science 2010 will be held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) in Edinburgh, UK. This is where all of the conference talks, breakout groups and poster sessions will take place. The welcome reception drinks reception on Monday night will also take place in the EICC.

Getting to the EICC

By Plane

The EICC is within 10km (6 miles) of Edinburgh International Airport. For more information on flights to Edinburgh visit www.edinburghairport.com.

By Train

Edinburgh has two railway stations – Waverley and Haymarket, which are about 2km apart; the EICC is about 600m from Haymarket station. Waverley is Edinburgh’s main station and has direct routes to many cities across the country, including over 25 daily departures from London. By Bus
